#WATCH | Delhi: BJP MP Anurag Thakur says, “The Congress party and Rahul Gandhi are essentially trying to intimidate the country’s judicial system, implying that if their demands aren’t met, they will take to the streets against the judiciary itself. The court, for its part, stated that a formal petition must be filed. And as you know, Rahul Gandhi has faced setbacks in court and has had to apologise on multiple occasions in the past. Now, he seems to believe that if he takes to the streets and repeatedly voices the same lies, people will accept them as the truth. Their strategy is crystal clear: if the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi aren’t in power, then spread anarchy…” He adds, “You speak of electoral malpractice? This, coming from a party and family whose members won elections through rigging and then imposed the Emergency? Rahul Gandhi, let me remind you of the 1989 election as well—’ Fake Gandhi’ versus ‘Real Gandhi,’ that is, Rajiv Gandhi versus Rajmohan Gandhi. Tell the country just how many polling booths the Congress looted. Tell today’s young generation—tell them about the contest between them, and how many booths were looted then…”
