Venkatesh Daggubati and director Trivikram Srinivas’s family entertainer ‘Adarsha Kutumbam – House No. 47’ also featuring Srinidhi Shetty arrived in theatres on Friday. As the film began its theatrical run, early reactions from the internet have begun surfacing on social media. While several viewers praised Venkatesh’s performance, Trivikram’s dialogues and the comedy, others felt that the second half was slow and the story lacked freshness.

Venkatesh’s performance and comedy get praise

One reviewer on X wrote, “Adarsha Kutumbam is a good family entertainer, with Venky Mama delivering a top notch performance.”The same viewer praised the humour, background score and supporting cast, adding that the film’s predictable storyline was supported by Trivikram’s trademark comedy.Another viewer gave the film 3.25/5 and called it a “Guruji Style VICTORY”. The review praised Venkatesh’s comic timing and said he handled every comedy moment with ease. The viewer also appreciated Trivikram’s dialogues, Thaman’s background score and Satya’s comedy. Srinidhi Shetty received a special mention for her portrayal of a mother and wife.

Second half receives mixed reactions

However, the second half emerged as one of the main points of criticism. Several viewers felt that the film started well but lost momentum after the interval. One reviewer wrote, “Adarsha Kutumbam starts well, but gets slow and boring in the second half. Some jokes work, but the story feels weak. Venkatesh is good, yet the film is still disappointing.” The reviewer rated it 2/5.A reviewer wrote, “The first half is passable and, while nothing feels particularly fresh, it entertains in parts and ends with a well executed interval. The second half, however, fails to capitalize on the setup and drags. Comedy works here and there but feels forced in other portions. Music is a letdown. Venky tries his best to carry it with his trademark timing, but the weak execution in the second half, holds this one back. Falls between b-avg to avg. #AdarshaKutumbam.”

Songs and screenplay draw criticism

Some viewers also pointed out that the screenplay and emotional portions could have been stronger. One review described the film as an average crime comedy with an inconsistent screenplay. They wrote, “An average crime comedy with a simple storyline and inconsistent screenplay. Venkatesh is good as usual, and Trivikram’s trademark dialogues are a major plus. Comedy works in parts, with Satya delivering a few laughs. However, the Nara Rohith and Nivetha Pethuraj tracks are boring, while the police track feels underwritten. Songs act as speed breakers, and the emotional portions fail to connect. The climax is just okay.”
