Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has reportedly received an extortion call from a person claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who allegedly demanded crores of rupees. The police are examining the recording and matching the caller’s voice with samples available in their records. Actor Tusshar Kapoor has also recently received a threatening audio message from a caller identifying himself as ‘Harry Boxer’.As part of the investigation into Tusshar’s case, the Crime Branch’s technical team analysed the audio recording and compared it with official voice samples of Harry Boxer in its database. However, senior police sources were quoted by NDTV that that the voices did not match. Actor Ronit Roy, who also runs a private security company, confirmed to the same portal that more celebrities are seeking enhanced protection.“Yes, there has been a demand to increase security cover among celebs. It’s all preventive in nature. Everyone wants to be careful and feel protected,” he said.Amitabh Bachchan was also seen taking additional precautions during his customary Sunday appearance outside his Juhu residence.
